Registered Psychotherapist
Heather Howse is a Registered Psychotherapist with nearly 25 years of experience supporting children, individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's challenges. Heather's journey into psychotherapy has been shaped by a rich 20-year career in childcare and education, a master's degree in counselling psychology, and her personal experience parenting four children, caring for aging parents, and maintaining a 30-year marriage.
Heather's approach combines neuroscience with evidence-based practices to create a personalized, client-centered action plan. With her guidance, clients work to explore core beliefs, challenge fears, and build practical skills that help unlock their potential. Her goal is to empower each person to break down barriers to joy and create a more manageable, purposeful and fulfilling life.
Area of specialization: All aspects of child, youth, families, parents, marriage and relationships, pre and post-natal, and LGBT-informed care.
Heather believes in the transformative power of compassion, space, and grace. She knows that, with the proper support, people can start seeing their lives in a new light--where things feel less painful and overwhelming and become more hopeful and meaningful. She invites those feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected to take the first step toward change.
If you're ready to explore a new path forward, Heather Howse offers a FREE 30-minute initial consultation.
